Our classes are ongoing – no sessions or semesters, no commitment to enroll in more than one class at a time! Attend at your convenience. Tutorial: Sew your own sock monster
We helped nearly 200 kids sew sock monsters yesterday at the Austin Mini Maker Faire. (Phew!) This is a fun project that teaches some very basic sewing skills and gives kids the satisfaction of making a toy for themselves. We used fuzzy socks, which have a nice furry texture for monster making and are also stretchy enough that the littlest kids can sew them
