This fall, we will be holding a series of holiday-themed workshops at Toybrary Austin for ages 2 to 5 and their parents. Join us for art projects, stories, games, and spooky/thankful/merry fun!
On October 31, come celebrate Halloween with us at our Make a Monster workshop. This is a very basic sewing project, perfect for ages 2 to 5! We will create our very own cuddly creatures, listen to a not-so-spooky Halloween story, and play a monster-themed game.
This is not a messy project, so feel free to come in costume!
On November 21, you and your child can work together to make a Thanksgiving centerpiece for your holiday table. Come stuff and decorate an adorable bean bag turkey, hear a Thanksgiving-themed story, play a game, and create some memories together. You’ll be thankful you did!
On December 6, it’s the first in our Santa’s Workshop series at Toybrary Austin. You and your 2- to 5-year-old child can create original ornaments for your Christmas tree. We will be working with clay and lots of sparkly things! There will also be a Christmas-themed story time and games. Ho ho ho!
On December 10, you and your 2- to 5-year-old child can make like an elf! Come to Toybrary Austin at 10:00am to create unique gift bags and cards to personalize holiday giving. We will learn some basic block printing skills, enjoy a Christmas-themed storytime, and play some festive games. See you there!
On December 17, you and your 2- to 5-year-old can create photo keepsakes to give as gifts or add to your holiday décor. Bring in photos of your little one or take some at the workshop (a camera and printer will be provided). Parents will use the photos to make snowglobes while the kids create their own photo ornaments, listen to a Christmas-themed story, and play a festive game.
If you purchased a 6 Class Pass that has not yet expired, please contact us at email@example.com or (512) 297-5214 to receive credit toward these workshops.
